Textbook and StatLab: McClave and Sincich: A First Course in Statistics, 10th edition with StatLab. The package (which includes a text book AND an access kit) can be bought in the bookstore.

 

Homework: Homeworks will be assigned online at  www.coursecompass.com on Mondays and due the following Monday before class.  Register on coursecompass using Course ID sen21797 and the Access Code that comes with the access kit of your textbook.

There will be no discussion on Sept 24th. Discussions will start from Oct 1st.

No class on Nov 11, Nov 25 and Nov 27.

There are two versions of each homework assignment. The ‘Practice Problems’ version is for practice only and does not contribute to overall course grade. The ‘Homework’ version is what counts for actual grades

The coursecompass website will be unavailable Sunday, October 4 for an  upgrade. So I have postponed the submission of HW1 from Monday Oct 5th to Tuesday Oct 6th.

The first quiz will be on Monday Oct 6th at the beginning of class on Chapter 2. Please bring pen/pencil and calculator (any kind). The exam will have space to write in, so you don't need bluebooks.

The date of Midterm 2 has been changed to Nov 16.
